ABOUT ME

I’m an artist born in Japan and raised primarily in San Jose, California. I live and work in a sunny neighborhood on the Windward side of Oahu, where I paint out of my tiny garage studio.

My love of people (aren’t people wonderful?) and of nature (have you spent time outside today?) emerges in my work. I try to capture the spirit of the landscape, flowers, or humans around me with happy colors and light.
